Ron accepted the Lord in 1955 at the age of six  and accepted the call to ministry in 1985. He started a business career in manufactured housing at age twenty-six. His keen “business sense” brought his manufacturing plants to multi-million dollars of profit. At the age of thirty-four he accepted his call to ministry at Christian Chapel, Moreno Valley, California with Rev. Mike Lanphere where their independent church merged into the Foursquare denomination which Ron has pastored since then.  Pastor Ron has served Weiser Worship Center in Weiser, Idaho for the past eighteen (18) years where their church has experienced the Word of God increasing their church in growth, raising up new ministries, healing the sick, delivering the captives, and have experienced mighty miracles in their midst. Ron became President of the local Ministerial Association and began interdenominational meetings once per quarter where the communities of eight (8) cities and town churches experienced revival.  Pastor Ron also started two radio broadcasts and quickly increased to international broadcasts. He started an evangelistic tour of Idaho entitled “Idaho Ablaze” in 2001 that resulted in the salvation and deliverance of many souls.  Ron has also held evangelistic meetings throughout the Northwest and Southwest regions. He is also on the board of Jerry Gaffney Ministries. Ron and his precious wife Betty have two grown children and live in Ontario, Oregon.

Bill is the Administrative Pastor at New Directions Assembly of God in Tualatin, Oregon and a business owner of Northwest Road Service in Portland. Bill is a qualified licensed minister of the Gospel, and was a board member of a local Portland church for several years. Bill brings years of experience in corporate management to our team and we are glad to have him as part of the Board of Closer To Him Ministries.

Bill is married to Pam, his delightful wife of over thirty years and they reside in Portland, Oregon. Bill and Pam have three children and four grandchildren.

Garry is a key member of New Life Assembly in Sherwood, Oregon and has been a friend of this ministry since 1999.  Garry has been active in Men’s Ministries for many years and has been a Jesus-follower since he was seven years old.  He brings a wealth of business and personal experience to the CTH team having been an owner of White’s Collectable’s & Fine China for over thirty years.  He also owned and operated a Thomas Kinkade Gallery in Newberg, Oregon.

Garry resides in Newberg, Oregon with his devoted wife Bonnie.  He loves spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Garry is an avid reader and a hungry student of God’s Word as well as a “genuine encourager”.

Betty Osborne has served in the pastoral ministry alongside of her husband, Ron for thirty-seven years.  Betty is the mother of two children and grandmother to four grandchildren.  Ron and Betty have resided in the Northwest for twenty-one years and for twenty years have been the Senior Pastors of Weiser Worship Center, Weiser, Idaho.  Ron and Betty have served the Lord in the Foursquare denomination for over twenty-five years.

Ms. Betty serves as Advisor to Women’s Ministries and the Children’s Ministry as well as Senior Administrator at Weiser Worship Center.  She is a humble, dedicated disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ who has given insight and direction to Gary and Pat over the years.  Betty will be a welcome addition to the Board of Closer To Him Ministries and we trust the Lord will continue to bless Pastor Ron and Betty as they advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Idaho.

Gary and Pat are missionary evangelists who travel primarily in the Northwest teaching and preaching a message of commitment, holiness, and becoming solid, genuine Jesus—followers. They have lived in Oregon since 1998 and are committed to help bring the church into the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Gary was born and raised in Ohio and is the oldest of ten children. Pat is the youngest of three sisters and loves the Lord with all her heart.   Gary and Pat continue to travel extensively and minister in churches and other venues as the Lord leads them.
